2025-2026 New Student Registration

 NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION 2025-2026

The first day of the 2025-2026 school year is Thursday, August 7, 2025; Instructional Calendar 2025-2026.

All new students must register at their home school. Click HERE to see if your home address falls within the Mangini Ranch attendance area.

Registration packets will be available for pickup in the Mangini front office starting on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 8:00a-3:30p.

Kindergarten Student Information Night will take place in the Mangini Multipurpose Room on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 3:30p-4:30p. Parents of incoming students will learn about our Kindergarten programs, and meet our Mangini community. 

We will officially begin accepting fully completed registration packets on Thursday, January  30th, 2025, in the Mangini Ranch front office during our registration hours: 1:20p-4:00p.

The online portion of registration begins on March 3, 2025.

TK-5TH GRADE STUDENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION & REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

To be eligible for TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN, students must turn 4 on or before September 1, 2025.

To be eligible for KINDERGARTEN, students must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2025. 

REQUIRED REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS INCLUDE:

  • TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM APPLICATION OR K-5 ELEMENTARY ENROLLMENT INFORMATION FORM (available in the Mangini Ranch office)
  • DOCUMENTATION OF AGE (CA Ed Code 48002):
    • Certified copy of a birth record or a statement by the local registrar or a county recorder certifying the date of birth
    • Baptism certificate duly attested
    • Passport
    • OR, when none of the foregoing is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent, guardian, or custodian of the minor, or any other appropriate means of proving the age of the child as prescribed by the governing board of the school district
  • IMMUNIZATION RECORDS - Click HERE for immunization requirements.
  • EVIDENCE OF RESIDENCY (CA Ed Code 48204.1)
    • Including, but not limited to, utility statement/receipt, rental/owner agreement, or government document.
    • If you are residing with a family member or friend and cannot provide proof of residency in your name, you and the resident whose name is on the utility statement/receipt or rental/escrow agreement must visit the Gold Ridge office at the time of enrollment to complete an Affidavit of Residency attesting to your living arrangement. In addition to providing proof of residency, the resident must also provide a copy of their driver’s license/state ID.
  • CUSTODY PAPERWORK if applicable; please provide a court-stamped copy.
  • IEP/504 PAPERWORK if applicable
  • ORAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT FORM (TK, K, 1ST GRADE): If this is your child's first year in public school, please have their dentist complete the Oral Health Assessment Form before May 31, 2026. Submit the form to the school office when completed.

ONLINE REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The online portion of registration begins on March 3, 2025, and should be completed as soon as possible. Log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal to finish the registration. If you cannot access your PowerSchool Parent Portal, please connect with the front office. 

ON-SITE STUDENT CARE INFORMATION

If you are interested in enrolling your child in our on-site student care program, visit the FCUSD Before & After School Student Care webpage for detailed information about the Wait List & Registration process. The Wait List Form for the 2025-2026 school year should be available online in early March. Please note, getting on the wait list does not guarantee a spot in student care. As is the case at many schools in the district, the student care program at Mangini Ranch is impacted, and there is a significant wait to secure a spot. If you submit a Wait List form and a spot becomes available, you will be contacted by the FCUSD student care office to complete the registration process.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHOICE INFORMATION

School Choice applications is sent home on January 22. (General Ed and Special Ed) School Choice application deadline is March 15, 2025 with acceptance/denial notification to families in mid-May. Completing a school choice form does not guarantee a spot at MRE.
